Over the weekend Cheryl Dunn had a little exhibition/meet and greet over at Saved Tattoo in Williamsburg which we somehow managed to sleep on...
The event was to promote her new book, Some Kinda Vacation. It's not strictly street art, but she's got some priceless shots of Barry Mcgee and Margaret Killgallen from when the Mission District was starting to happen, along with ESPO and Phil Frost and a whole bunch of other artists who more or less defined this whole 'street art' thing we've got going on now.
So we all missed our chance to get autographs (whatever), but the book's for sale on Picturebox, so all's not lost.
